Setting up Outlook XP (Office XP / Outlook 2003) for
RICONNECT.COM email addresses

Below are screenshots of the set-up wizard to guide you through getting your email through Outlook XP. Please use the color coded chart below for the correct information relating to the fields needing that information.

Color Field Data Purpose
  pop3.riconnect.com incoming or POP server
  smtp.cshore.com (DSL)
smtp.popsite.net (Dial-Up)
If not dialing in with us or using our DSL service, please use your connection providers SMTP server.
outgoing or SMTP server
  username account user ID
  username@riconnect.com email address

Using the Wizard

Open Outlook, go to Tools then to Email Accounts

Choose "Add a new email account", click NEXT

Choose the Server Type POP3, click NEXT

Color Field Data Purpose
  pop3.riconnect.com incoming or POP server
  smtp.cshore.com (DSL)
smtp.popsite.net (Dial-Up)
If not dialing in with us or using our DSL service, please use your connection providers SMTP server.
outgoing or SMTP server
  username account user ID
  username@riconnect.com email address

Fill in the fields with the correct information from the chart above.

Click Next then Finish. That's it

Viewing the properties

Open Outlook, go to Tools then to Email Accounts

Choose "View or change existing email accounts"

Highlight your email account, then click "Change"
