Cybershore is pleased to announced its new control panel for its web-hosting customers.

Single web interface for management
This web based control panel will give you full control over all aspects of your website. From a single interface you can manage your mail accounts, login password, setup separate webusers, upload and edit files in real time, setup and manage databases and mailing lists and much more. Plus forgotten passwords can be sent to the email address of record automatically with a click of a button.

The control panel is setup on a new web hosting box. Thus you would need to move your site to take advantages of these new features. It's easy to move your site see below.

Enhanced security and features
This computer is running the latest version of RedHat. This makes it very secure and not susceptible to the problems that plague Microsoft Servers. However it still supports ASP and runs the latest Microsoft Front Page Extensions.

As the the webmaster you can login and administer all aspects of your site.

• You can easily password parts of the site, monitor the size and traffic of your site, plus daily statistics are automatically setup.
• You can even download the log file if you wanted to run your own customer log analysis report.
• You can create separate web user account and allow individuals FTP access to a protected part of your website.
• Files can be uploaded and edited in real time from a simple web interface. This make it very easy to make minor changes to web pages.

New database support
This server supports SSI, ASP, CGI and PHP, and MySQL. You can use PhpMyAdmin to administer all aspects of the database.

Easily manage your mail
You can easily create users, aliases, mail groups and autoresponders from a simple to use interface. You can also create mailing lists. To learn how to use these and other features please view our new Flash tutorials.

Will it work with my site?
All new sites will automatically be setup on this new server. However, existing customers will need to move their site to this server. We can setup a blank site on the new server for you to FTP or publish your site. If it's a FTP you can FTP to the IP address 72.32.23.99 once the site is setup. This would eliminate any downtime during the transition.

If the site is FrontPage you would need to wait 12 to 24 hours for the DNS to be updated before you could publish the new site. Your site would be down for part of this time. There are ways to avoid this downtime if necessary.
